Hi, I'm going to install paneling. What is easier around the window? Is it to put up the paneling on the entire wall first and then use a jigsaw to cut out for the window along the studs, or is it better to cut the measurements from the start? I'm thinking that if you panel the whole wall and cut out afterwards, you don't have to worry as much about where each board ends up. But maybe I'm making a big mistake as I'm a beginner at paneling.

It will be horizontal log paneling.
