Tips on trim for finishing floor against stair opening

I'm currently installing a click floor on the second floor and need tips on which trim to use as a finishing touch at the opening to the staircase; the floor runs on both sides along the opening. The stairs are straight, so the trims need to be up to 2.3 m. It seems a bit bulky to go with angled wooden trims from the lumberyard...

Jaadu... This flooring was done by me for my son but I left it to him to choose the skirting boards and finish it all. When we visited two weeks ago, there are still no skirting boards there ...
