I have a desk in a corner of the room. I want storage for binders to the left of the workspace, above the desk. But I don't want to lose valuable desk space, so I'm thinking of lifting up a Billy bookcase a few decimeters from the desk and mounting it on the wall. The bookcase is a regular low Billy:

Do you have any tips on how to do this nicely? The wall is plaster + OSB so there's something to screw into. The easiest would be two brackets under the shelf, but it looks a bit ugly.

An alternative would be Elfa brackets and loose shelves, but it's not a real option for me.

Ikea sells loose parts in the stores. Go and buy two angle brackets that are for the kitchen cabinets with the plastic covers. Then screw them into the bookshelf and then into the wall. The brackets and screws will be hidden behind the white plastic.

Will it hold? Probably, since you can hang large kitchen cabinets in the same way now that I think about it. I can also put more than a couple if I'm unsure.
Thanks for the tip!
