Different products, "iron" from e.g. China and wood from our own forest. There might be different conditions, but I have no facts to refer to here.

But it probably varies depending on where you live; in Stockholm, it might be a bit different.

Stockholm, demand, inflation affecting timber prices, etc., there could be several reasons.
From the Swedish Forest Agency:
"What is happening with timber prices in 2024?
In the first quarter of 2024, delivery timber prices for both sawlogs and pulpwood increased compared to the fourth quarter of 2023. The price of sawlogs increased by 8 percent and pulpwood by 3 percent. Regionally, the sawlog price increased the most in Southern Norrland by 9 percent, followed by Svealand with 8 percent."
