Hello

I hope I'm placing the thread in the right part.
We have a house from around 1931 where we need to renovate old bathrooms that have plastic flooring, we talked to companies that say tiles and clinker are best and it should be fine considering the weight.

But I can't help being a little nervous about the weight and whether the beams can handle it, I realize I should have asked earlier in the stage but better late than never.

The bathroom being renovated, about 5 sqm

They have started framing, but it seems to be 60cm between the old beams.

I assume that the flooring rests on solid plank walls? We have exactly the same layout from 1938 and both the previous bathroom from 09 and the new one from this year have had tiles on levelling compound with two layers of floor chipboard without sagging.

Thank you for your response
