Why not just take the advice given and do what the industry requires...
Glue the tiles to the chipboard with adhesive intended for this, like Fleixicol, but then you have a hell of a problem if you one day want to change the tiles...
Glue 6mm gypsum with, for example, Flexicol and set the tiles on this, and then it's somewhat easier the day you want to change...
Screw the 6mm gypsum very carefully so that the screw heads don't go in too much into the gypsum... The risk with this step is that it won't be very sturdy since you need to be careful screwing such thin gypsum and therefore it is recommended to glue that type of gypsum... However, it makes it easier when you want to change tiles, and if you have a feeling that it might be relevant, this can be an option for some.
