I have previously used spacers for walls and cut wooden spacers (which are removed afterward) for floors.
But what other alternatives are there? I've seen "leveling systems" with plastic wedges that seem convenient but appear to be more suited for floors. Now a bathroom is going to be tiled, and are the bothersome spacers the way to go, or what tips do you have?
