Tile drywall chipboard fibrous board chipboard how to attach heavy coat hooks
An outdated bathroom is going to be transformed into a wardrobe instead. But the wall is constructed of tile double plasterboard without a moisture barrier on particle board on top of fiberboard and chipboard. To make matters worse, there are rather weak studs in the construction.
I want to put up a rail with hanging brackets and create a wardrobe. But which fastening method should be used when the holes in the rail don't even have CC600?
Hope someone takes an interest in the problem.
Regards

If the bathroom is going to be dismantled anyway, at least I would tear down all the material to the studs.
That is, remove tiles, drywall, chipboard, and three-tex. Everything should go to the dump.
Then with the exposed studs, you have the opportunity to inspect everything regarding any moisture and damage and also assess the dimensions, stability, and anchoring of the wall studs.
If it doesn't feel solid enough, you can reinforce it appropriately.
edit:
Oh, sorry. I didn't see at first that the thread was so old.
The storage room is probably finished now.

Yes, it was a while ago, but one of those hanging rails from Elfa solved the issue. The tiles were left as they are, they don't show and are easy to clean.
Unfortunately, the ceiling is so much lower that ready-made sliding mirror doors cannot be managed by me. Ceiling tracks I've found at Horbach Ikea usually drop down so much that it's not easy to fit a box in. But without doors, it's just barely possible to place a box on the top shelf.
