I'm working on soundproofing the basement where we have a bedroom and I've tried to read about how to do it on this forum. Maybe one should have air, different densities on the mineral wool, thick boards and preferably double layers of gypsum...
But I have 120mm available. What is the best practical solution? Sending a sketch.

A friend's brother insulated the floor structure down to an apartment in the basement according to all the rules of the art... barely helped and cost quite a bit...
