Have built a balcony. The floor is tongue and groove, over that roofing felt + top felt, i.e., completely sealed.
The balcony functions as a roof over the entrance to the house. Want to put tongue and groove boards under the balcony to create a nice "ceiling."
Can one seal the joists (2"x6" untreated) so it's completely tight? Or could this cause any form of moisture/condensation problems? Should I have ventilation?
