Thinnest possible interior wall for tiling in bathroom
I am going to renovate a bathroom in an old house. I need to build an interior wall that is as thin as possible. On the outside of the wall, it will be osb+gypsum.
What is the thinnest possible construction that can be tiled on and is also approved for wet rooms?

My firm belief is that you do not install tiles in houses with a wooden frame, there is no way to keep it watertight over time, as the house moves, tiles do not. Vinyl flooring is MUCH cheaper (if you outsource it) and completely watertight, even when the house moves.
With a plastic-based waterproof membrane, you get the same effect as a linoleum floor if you ensure tiling with proper corners (no silicone). It's the membrane and not the tiles that seals; the grout is actually meant to "breathe" and is not designed to be watertight.PumpTompa said:

I think you need to use at least 70mm studs. If you really want to save every mm, you might skip OSB. Instead, mount it as strips between the studs, so you have something to screw things into.
With type Aerocelement, you get a wall frame that is only 50 mm. http://www.aeroc.se/index.php?page=753&lang=swe&cnt=AEROC_Element. I have built a shower cabin with such elements, as sturdy as can be even though it does not extend all the way to the ceiling. I have tiled on both sides. Total wall thickness with tiles = 68 mm
I was at a construction site a few years ago and the wall there was made of 28mm sparse frame and on that a glued and screwed 13mm plywood of good quality, rot gips. About 3m long and 2.5m high and it was at least as sturdy as many other walls....
