We are planning to add a pent roof to our extension, and the span between the exterior walls is 7 meters with a roof pitch of 6 degrees. We would prefer not to have any load-bearing walls indoors, and therefore wonder if there is any type of Kerto or laminated beam that can withstand this span and pitch. We live in Gothenburg, with all that the zone entails in terms of precipitation and wind (it is very windy). We want the interior ceiling to have the same pitch, i.e., no hidden trusses above a horizontal interior ceiling.
Does anyone know anything?
