The best way to seal gaps between trim/molding?

I have noted that my miter saw (Bosch GCM 8, a few years old) doesn't cut perfectly. The result is accordingly... See image.
Now that the damage is done, how do you repair this in the nicest and best way?
I don't want to paint over the moldings, only fill in the actual crack. Wood filler or caulk? What does the general consensus recommend?

When did you put up the fodren? It might be good to let it sit for a season due to the walls' movements, as new ones are likely to crack quite immediately otherwise.

I would probably go with tec7 and some touch-up paint in the gap afterwards. A bit too much for latex, but that could work too.

It's been up since the summer and has looked pretty much the same the whole time. Maybe *slightly* wider gap now than when I put it up.

I just ordered a bottle of Dynaflex, supposed to be "da shit" according to the Americans. I'll try it on the gap before I mess it up with latex.

Have never used Tec7, what distinguishes it from latex?

Works as both glue and sealant and doesn't crack like regular cheaper sealant/latex.
