Hello. I've just moved into a house and have a bit to tinker with. We're planning to start renovating in little Stevens' room (the boy in the belly).
Right now, there's an ugly textured wallpaper with nail holes all over the walls. We were thinking of tearing this down to get to the drywall.
The question is really how I should go about the spackling. Since the drywall behind (I assume) is already spackled at the seams and screw holes from back in the day.
Should I just spackle the holes that have come from nails, screws, etc.? Or is it necessary to do a full skim coat even though I'm tearing down to the drywall?
Thanks for the tips.
Best regards
