Roof panel from ByggMax/ jem&fix
It's time to start picking up panels for the ceiling, and since there are close to 60 sqm to buy, we are considering buying a slightly cheaper one
Anyone with experience with
Jem&Fix's ceiling panels?

Or from Byggmax

Ceiling? White? Take the cheapest one. They all look pretty much the same.

Otherwise, there is ceiling gypsum, gipsplank. https://www.byggmax.se/skivmaterial/gipsskivor/takgips-p07212
The advantage is that you can paint the gypsum, but I'm doubtful about the foil-coated boards.

Thanks for the picture
I think it looks quite okay, if I can just persuade my partner when she finishes work, then it will probably be one of those

Installed such boards in the rooms upstairs and they are nice to work with, but in the rest of the house, I prefer to avoid it
There will be enough filling and sanding as all the walls on the ground floor need to be plastered

A reflection I have made is that ceiling tiles rarely cost under a hundred kronor per square meter, but you can buy laminate flooring for fifty!
Probably less competition in ceiling tiles, because purely in terms of durability, they can be worse than something you walk on.

There were roofs for 60-70 bucks here at the building store, but it was like a corrugated cardboard sheet with a bit of foil on it, broke just by lifting it. But I agree roofs should be a bit cheaper.
I screwed because I lowered the ceiling and have tried to make it as soundproof as possible, so it's lowered without too many attachment points in the existing ceiling, 45mm insulation, 2×13mm plasterboard, and ceiling panel... hope it turns out well, I'll do the same throughout the apartment I'm building because it's quite noisy.

I screwed up my boards. I was alone when I did it, only had help from a height-adjustable prop. With a little persistence, it went well and I got no gaps.Tobias Knutsson said:
