Hi, I have a question about whether I can take down a section of an interior wall made of lightweight concrete. The wall itself is about 90mm wide including plaster on the upper floor of a townhouse, and it's about a section above an 80cm door opening that I want to take down.

Picture of the section I want to take down:
Interior view of a doorway with a removed section above. The wall is marked with red arrows and numbers, indicating a planned renovation.

The trusses are of a truss design (I think, see picture) and should be self-supporting/resting on the outer wall, right? The span is 7.5m.

Trusses: Attic space with wooden trusses, insulation material, and boxes. The truss construction suggests a non-load-bearing structure. Wooden roof trusses in an attic with visible wiring and supporting beams; part of a discussion on potentially removing a section above a doorway.

The ceiling above the wall is plastered. Logic says it can't be load-bearing, as I find it hard to see how the plasterboard could have been installed if it was load-bearing. But still want to double-check before I start.

Considering that the piece of wall is attached to a piece of rebar that likely came about when the wall but metal studs were installed, it probably won't be able to support anything.

With truss rafters, no walls on the floor below the attic should be load-bearing.

It's not rebar but an old Bergman pipe (electric)
Sounds like you just need to go for it.

Yep, but be careful with the pipe if it's still in use. :)

...it's rather strange that that piece hasn't already fallen off by itself.

It is no longer in use, so it's all good, thanks anyway.
