I'm planning to build a gate that will be 250cm long and approximately 100cm high with vertical paneling.

It will be hinged on one end and lock on the other side.

Is it possible to build one like this? How can I do it? Does anyone have knowledge about this, and if so, what material dimensions should I use?

Can you imagine putting a wheel at the end you lock? Because spontaneously it feels difficult to make a wooden gate not sag too much even if you brace it. Metal might be an option?

One option is to place a rotatable wheel at the outer end, maybe one in the middle as well.
Another alternative is to make the frame in an angle iron profile.
It is also important that the post and the base on which the gate hangs are stable.
