I have installed spiral ducting in a non-active chimney for HRV. I would like to secure the ducts in the flues and wonder what would be most suitable? I will have a cap over the chimney but it's still quite exposed to moisture.
Regular glass wool insulation binds moisture, which I assume is not desirable. I don't want to use foam either.
What do you think?
