Has anyone else experienced that Byggmax screws are complete rubbish?

I have been working on the house for almost 10 years. An example of the quality is that when I recently made some adjustments to some angle irons for a terrace railing, almost all the anchor screws broke where the thread begins. The screws have been in place for about 8 years. Anchor screws can also be used for load-bearing fittings, so it’s downright dangerous that they don’t hold.

Another example is that I made a construction just 1-2 months ago, where I used Byggmax wood screws including 6x100 C4 for outdoor use, and when I was now going to make some adjustments, maybe 10-20% of them broke when I tried to unscrew them. They have only been there for a month or so, and are so thick! In the fracture surface, you can see brown rust spots. I think they use really crappy raw material and then dip it in some paint to make it look good.

Really terrible quality, I must say.

So it is
But the crazy thing is that I keep buying all the screws there
The slots in the Gypsum screws are bad and there are always bent screws in the box.
But it's cheap.

Are they tightened with the correct torque? Even though Byggmax screws vary in quality, it sounds like you may have over-tightened the screw, caused cracking which then corroded and weakened the screw further.

The anchor screw may have possibly been tightened too hard, but the wood screw has a head like a deck screw that goes into the wood. You stop when it is sufficiently countersunk and it must withstand that.
