Well, there's no real cavity inside the wall. It's just really porous. One of the walls, the bedroom I think, is quite hard for about a centimeter in, then porous for several centimeters before my rather weak hammer drill comes to a complete stop.
The walls are probably made of lightweight concrete.
Above windows and door openings, there is a beam of much harder lightweight concrete or regular concrete.
That's why some screws work and others don't.
Use regular plugs in the hard concrete and special lightweight concrete plugs in the porous areas. Fischer has good lightweight concrete plugs, Biltema too, actually. The price difference is about 350%.
