I have part of the barn for firewood storage. I'm reconfiguring the other parts and considering storing lumber in the firewood storage area. It would fit well space-wise with a good opportunity to stack long lengths easily a bit off the ground. Is it a bad idea to store renovation lumber in the same space as firewood? Firewood always brings along small insects, even though it’s mainly bark beetles. So simply put, is it a good or bad idea to have lumber in the same space as firewood?
