There's a hollow space in the ceiling of a small hallway that I could, of course, seal off. But I thought it might be practical to store some things there.
I was thinking of some sort of shelf/basket that I can "pull down" from the ceiling to put in and take out items, and then push it back up again.
Is there some sort of fitting or solution for something like that? Anyone know of anything, or have an idea for a solution?
I am in need of some experience and brainstorming help .
I have a ceiling cavity in a small hallway, which I could of course seal. But I thought it might be practical to be able to stash some things there.
I then considered some form of shelf/basket that I can "pull down" from the ceiling to load and unload items, and then push back up again.
Is there any sort of hardware or solution for something like this? Does anyone know of anything, or have an idea for a solution?

If you can attach a hook or ring to the ceiling, you can set up a few pulleys and then a rope.
If it gets too heavy, you'll need to use block and tackle.
Then a cleat or equivalent to lock the rope when the basket is at the right height.
I did this to hang a roof box in the garage, and it worked well.
I got curious and checked a bit on YouTube and found a number of more or less good ceiling storage ideas. Not all may be suitable for TS, but maybe one could work....
