Has anyone built a stone house instead of a wooden house?

Why did you choose a stone house? Which supplier did you choose and how has it gone?

There has been some previous discussion about different building materials, but not about the various stone house suppliers.

So I still would like to know why you chose a specific stone house supplier and how you think it has gone. I am grateful for any references!
