I was considering renovating the foundation now that the rest is going to be painted and tidied up. But when I started checking how well the plaster was holding, it ended up being more or less a complete tear-down. So I was thinking about putting up panels instead of replastering, but I have mexitegel on the top side of the plaster, so the space is barely enough to fit a stud for ventilation in between.
But I thought a Platon mat closest to the foundation and then the panel directly on top. Shouldn't that work with ventilation?
Does anyone have any tips on how to attach the panel?
I was thinking of drilling 8mm straight through the panel and mat, then using nail plugs and maybe screws if I want to replace or adjust it later. Would this work?
