I messed up when I plastered the basement wall, was short one bag so it wasn't enough for a corner. Then I plastered that section, but the seam didn't turn out well... It's probably mainly because the edge wasn't sharp, but sloping, and the plaster didn't adhere where it was thinnest.

Is there any mortar that can tidy up the wall? Something that can be applied very thinly.

It can be useful to have a moistened brush with you to soften the transition.
As mentioned above, fine plaster B or C can be applied very thinly.
Otherwise, you can mix a slurry and apply it. It becomes very thin.

Great, then I'll get to try it!
