Hi, the next project is to paint the garage floor, however, a gap has formed between the floor and the wall. Now I need tips on materials I can use to fill it.

Filler, mortar, etc.

  • Crack between garage floor and white wall, showing chipped paint and rough concrete. Seeking material advice for filling.
  • A gap between the garage floor and wall needing filling material, with a squeegee visible on the speckled concrete floor.
If you are not going to have a baseboard, make a cove with e.g. Ardex A45.

Thanks for the reply, no, I was thinking of skipping the baseboards. What is the easiest way to make a cove?

With a bottle.

Buy a spatula. It is surprisingly convenient to use for creating fillets with mortar or epoxy with filler in.

Do you think Byggmax finbetong works? It was good in price, and I am a bit stingy too.
