I am going to install about 100m² of pre-painted white beadboard on the ceiling and sloped ceiling and I'm considering whether to order full lengths to avoid joints or to make joints and thus have less waste and save 5-8 thousand.

I've looked at Moelven trend or Baseco's beadboard.

Has anyone installed something similar? How do the joints look after 10 years? Are they very noticeable?

Seams are always visible regardless of the roof's age, and if they separate over time, they will naturally become more noticeable. Do you have the possibility to use full lengths? In that case, it might be possible to order a specific length to avoid waste.

Baseco panel is very nice to install, it is dried down to 8% (furniture dry) so it will not dry apart at the joints.

Do you have the option to have full lengths?

As I mentioned, I can order different lengths, but it results in more waste and costs a little extra. I'm pondering how much difference it will make in the outcome. Is it worth the extra money?

I think seamless is the best looking..
But whether it's worth the money for you, I cannot judge..

Is it a permanent residence or a vacation home you plan to clad?

Ok, then it is as @Timmermannen77 wrote that it won't shrink significantly..

A slated roof should contain joints, at least if it is to look genuine.

Anyone have a picture of a fairly recently installed panel roof with seams?

I can contribute with a picture of a roof from 1905.

Because older roofs contain seams.
