Hello, what is the span length of 2 pieces of 45x70 that are screwed and glued, and can the span be increased with bridging or something else to handle a 160cm span (loft floor)?

2 screw-glued 45x70 C 24 can handle a 160 cm span with OK results if you place them at c/c 600 mm and screw-glue a chipboard or similar on the top.

Thanks! Then I think that if I place them at c/c 300 it should be completely fine with a little margin maybe as well?

c/c 300 increases the load-bearing capacity but has only a marginal effect on the deflection. However, it certainly becomes more stable.

Excuse an ignorant youngster, but how do you mean to screw-glue the studs?
According to A or B below?
Illustration of two boards side by side labeled A, and two boards stacked vertically labeled B, showing options for screwing and gluing studs.

According to A, that was how I measured, in order to keep the floor height down. B is much more efficient, however.
