Hope this is the right subforum.

I am planning to install paneling on an extension built with some form of concrete blocks. These have broken around the doorway (it's a garage) and I've been advised to repair them before building on the facade. Aesthetically, I will hide them behind a new facade, but there might be gains in durability and insulation to consider?

Anyway, I would like to get started on this soon and am wondering if it's possible to plaster them despite the freezing temperatures outside? Where I live, it's -7/8 degrees now. I can't really wait until spring, especially if it's a late one. I want to install new doors quite promptly and then use the building as a workshop and woodworking space.

So what does the panel think? Plaster now despite the cold? Plaster at all?

I find it hard to believe that plastering in subzero temperatures works, maybe someone else knows better. How much has broken? Considering that you are going to put a panel over it anyway, it's probably not really necessary to fix it.

Yes, or whatever you want to call it. Repair it anyway.
