Spackle cut drywall?

I cut the renovation drywall boards lengthwise to make it easier to get them home in the car.
Now the help I hired to put up the boards has placed them side by side without any gap in the joint and without planing a beveled edge on them.
How should I now plaster this in a neat way?

Not sure if you really need to bevel the edges actually.
Put fiberglass or paper tape and spread the plaster 15-20 cm on each side, so you don't see it when wallpapering anyway.

Thanks, I know. I didn't have a tow hitch or roof rack and wanted to get the boards home. Now they're on the wall, a bit clumsily mounted, and my question was about making the best of the situation. SBH gave a decent answer that I intend to try to follow. The walls the boards cover are in a summer house, where it doesn't matter so much if a seam is visible here and there.AndyF1 said:
