Not house, but car...
The handle to close the door (inside) on my 1999 BMW has cracked. Poor design with just a plastic piece molded into a foamed soft handle.
A previous owner tried to glue it, but it obviously didn't work as it was broken when I bought the car.
I have now bent a reinforcement plate in stainless steel behind the handle and would like to glue it to the door panel's "cardboard" and to the broken plastic tab. But I need an adhesive that bonds to metal, plastic, and cardboard. I believe in some kind of construction adhesive that fills gaps and doesn't become 100% hard, since the surface isn't hard. The door panel seems to be glued with some slightly tacky adhesive, as it's a mix of cardboard, plastic, and leather...
Any tips on an adhesive that is reasonably cheap, strong, and fills gaps... Thinking of something like PL600? Is there anything better?

Tec7 or PL400 should do fine
