Slab on ground without crushed stone

Hi,

The wooden beams have been removed, and now a slab is being installed.
60-65cm from the bottom to the intended floor level.

The initial thought was to use crushed stone and then foam insulation according to all the rules.

Now, a proposal has been submitted to use insulation all the way and then a slab on top instead.

The reason is that it's quite a bit of work to get the crushed stone in.

Will we encounter problems with capillary breakage, or will 50cm of insulation solve this?

One way to avoid all the work and hassle that comes with macadam is to use a first layer with isodrän/pordrän or similar boards. See construction solutions on the manufacturers' websites. You'll pay extra but avoid all the shoveling and dust, etc.
