Shadow gap / Shadow gap thick plastered interior walls
Hello all wise ones!
We are looking to create a shadow line at the junction between the floor and the wall. Does anyone know how this is done? What we are thinking might work is to lay the floor first and then mount an angle profile 5 mm above the floor and plaster against it. Gratefully accepting tips!

Sure, it will certainly be sensitive, but we'd like to have it that way and hope it will work. If it turns out it doesn't work, you can always mount a baseboard on top.S sulfobus said:

5 mm is too poor a distance. 10-15 mm is needed to achieve the desired effect. With 5 mm, it looks as if it is sloppily built.
@vibyggerhus How did it go with the shadow molding? Did it look nice?
Anyone who has solved shadow gap and can give tips on how you went about it?
