Most common?
Well, it should probably be single gypsum, as many (most?) catalog houses have it, to keep the price down.
If you want the best soundproofing, double gypsum is perfect.
If you want almost as good soundproofing + easy to put things on the walls, go with OSB+gypsum or plywood+gypsum or particle board+gypsum.

If you're looking for soundproofing, don't forget the details.
No open holes between rooms, i.e., seal where boards and studs meet in wall angles and ceiling angles, everywhere there might be the slightest gap.
Don't place electrical boxes directly against each other if it can be avoided, and so on.
Regular "cheap" interior doors are quite poor at soundproofing.
It can be slightly improved with a rubber strip, but there are doors of completely different quality if needed.

Yes yes I'm not looking for low-budget do-it-yourself, have expanded 30 m2, just winter-rested, will start again now in the spring...(stands as a shell with 45 insulation and wind paper...)
Thanks for the good tips!
