Hi, I have a question about how to determine yourself if the stucco facade is single-stage sealed. The first owner (at house construction) is unavailable for questioning.
When was the house built? Single-step sealing came around 2000 if I remember correctly. Otherwise, just feel along the bottom of the wall at the base of the house to see if you can slip your hand in or if you feel the insulation/cell plastic.
It was built exactly in 2000-2001. At the very bottom by the base, it is plastered around and down, but in one spot I can see and feel that there is metal mesh and mineral wool behind the plaster.
I appreciate that the thickness is about 50 mm on the plaster, so is it "thick plaster on mineral wool" that I have? Does anyone have the same construction and have encountered moisture problems?
