Hello,

Our porch, which was built by a previous owner, needs some care to survive a few more years as parts of the roof, floor, and walls have rotted away.

Initially, I thought of laying roofing felt, but then a friend suggested using polycarbonate sheets to make it a bit brighter.

I'm now considering what might be the cheapest option? Or if there are any other budget-friendly alternatives. Currently, it's corrugated metal, which is beyond saving.

It's a sloped roof about 3.5x2.5 m, which I plan to extend a bit along the facade (cantilever) to provide better protection for the front door.

Entrance porch with weathered corrugated metal roof and faded red trim on a wooden house. Flowering potted plants by the steps; lush green grass surrounds.
