I can understand that covering an exposed cabinet side with a painted cover panel can look nicer, but it can also look nice with cover panels as it gives a built-in or more luxurious appearance. I see that Ikea does not sell cover panels for PAX wardrobes, and I wonder why that is? Is it because the frames are free from visible screws and are always painted? Personally, I would like to get cover panels for my PAX, but I'm not inclined to buy kitchen cover panels and cut them. I'd mostly like to hear how you reason about this, and if anyone has solved it in a different way.

I have painted the side of Pax. Another Pax in my home already has oak on the side from the start.

There are third-party options, such as superfront, pickyliving, or some of the others that have emerged recently.
