Hello,

I have just over 700m of pressure-treated decking from Beijers in an unopened package. I received the delivery on Tuesday and placed a thin tarp over it on Sunday. It was quite sunny that week. The wood was treated in November according to the stamp. I have read that if the wood is freshly treated, you should lay it flush to avoid large gaps when the wood has dried. How "dried" should I consider my 700 meters to be? Is it impossible to say, maybe!? Grateful for tips.
:) Mats

When I built the deck, I got the tip to store the timber under plastic and water it for a few days (watered several times a day). Then I screwed the decking without gaps, it has worked perfectly for 3 years now.
