After sanding, oiling, and priming the glazing rebate (and the entire frame), the glass needs to be put back and fastened with pins.
Question: should you put putty in the rebate before laying the glass? Like some kind of sealant?
You're supposed to lay the glass with a 1-1.5mm gap all around in the rebate, and I'm wondering if that gap should be sealed with putty?
The glass that you lay down in the frame lies directly against the wood, maybe there should be a thin layer of putty there?

A thin layer of kitt first, thinning out to zero towards the edge. Otherwise, there's a risk it won't be tight.
And the bow should be primed before the kitt is applied so it doesn't come off because the oil is absorbed into bare wood.
