Secure attachment in asphalt for e.g. bike locks?

I am widening the driveway with new asphalt.

I also want to park bicycles in a relatively safe way and was wondering if there is a way to anchor some device/fitting in/under the asphalt - now there is the opportunity to do it before/while the asphalt is laid.

I was thinking of a U on a plate where the plate is placed under the asphalt and above there is a loop to attach further devices to. Is this a smooth solution or do you have other tips? What is the name of the type of fitting I am describing?

If it's just a loop, it will be difficult to lock; if you can have a post with a loop and a plate under the ground, it's better, then the bicycle/lar can have support to stand with.
