Hello, we are renovating the basement. In the ceiling above the boiler, various pipes go through the ceiling. I don't want an open hole in the ceiling, I want it sealed. Does anyone have tips on how to seal the hole around the pipes in a good way?
Grateful for tips!
Basement utility area with pipes going through the ceiling, a white boiler, and exposed wires. The wall and floor are concrete with a hole around the pipes. Pipes and cables protruding through an open hole in a basement ceiling, exposed above a boiler, with gaps needing sealing.

Sealant used for fireproofing might work!
