I have searched the forum and haven't found...

How do you seal around a masonry chimney between the basement and the first floor, and between the second floor and the attic? I will have FTX, so it should be airtight to prevent moist air from seeping out next to the chimney. It's a wooden house, so between the second floor and the attic, there is likely to be some movement.
Between the basement and the first floor, the joists rest on the leca wall and the chimney is about 20cm from a corner, so the movement there is probably negligible.

I have just finished building the chimney 10m from the basement 4-pipes... I noticed that the chimney can easily sway +-1.5cm, so attaching the chimney to the roof is probably preferable to stabilize it a bit. But the question is what to use—is there foam that is allowed to be used against the chimney?
