Screwing into plasterboard near edge, how?
Going to install a Pax fan in the bathroom ceiling, and it's plasterboard without wood behind it. Unfortunately, the screw holes for the fan are very close to the large 110mm hole where the fan itself is inserted.
It’s like screwing 5 mm at the edge of a plasterboard, which feels a bit risky if the edge cracks.
What's the best way to proceed, glue it up??
The fan is in two parts, it's the back piece that is screwed.

Hm. I'm going to cut out an identical 110mm hole in a plywood and cut it into a square, then split it in half so I can fit it into the hole in the plaster and then glue those pieces together
(Crap... I wanted to have it up and running right away)

There are several adhesives today that work instantly, just like that.
For example, this one.
