I'm currently installing construction plywood and noticing that the studs are not exactly placed at 60 cm intervals. Is there any risk in not adjusting the drywall panels to the studs and instead just attaching the panel seams to the construction plywood where the studs don't match the measurements?

Works perfectly as long as the plywood sheets are joined over the studs

Yes, they are. I thought it would be much easier to put up the gypsum in whole sheets and my painter will be happy when he has to spackle all the seams :)

It becomes even easier if you use plaster in 900 mm width. There is a big difference when working with lighter panels, and you also avoid general joints.

Thanks for the tip, had forgotten how heavy and cumbersome 120 records are.
