I've decided to cast a grandfather clock in concrete. A straight base and a round/oval clock face. My problem is that I don't know what material the mold should be made from. Since the diameter of the clock face will be about 3dm, I wonder if plywood can really be bent that much?

Is there a better material?

Hello!

You can use thin sheet metal.

"You can use thin sheet metal."

Maybe an old-fashioned cookie tin

Saw off an appropriate plastic pipe, slit it, or cut off a suitable piece for perfect roundness and fit it with the rest of the form.
