Rikshus anyone familiar with them (1950s)
Rikshus!
Does anyone know about Rikshus, which built houses in the late 40s and 50s? I would like to know a little about their construction methods, possible calculations, and so on. The construction technique was to build a framework and then pour in cement with wood shavings (I think). The result was prefabricated block houses that were assembled quite quickly. What do you think they can handle in terms of loads today?
Let me know if you know or think of anything.

Have no idea about calculations, etc., but we live in a house whose plans were made by 'Rikshus'.
Terrace house, brick facade, concrete hollow blocks on the ground floor, wood frame on the upper floor (studs, standing spruce tongue and groove, 'laxåplatta', which means stone wool insulation, I believe)

Hello!
I also live in a villa built in 1945 by the brand Rikshus. The material for the house seems to have come in kits from AB Statens Skogsindustrier from the Trähusfabrik in Horndal.
I am missing the original documentation on the house, construction, etc., and therefore wonder if there might be someone who has and is willing to share the original drawings?

Hi! Super cool! Moved in 7 days ago so it's very fresh. It is plastered, concrete slab. We have two floors, both above ground. The bedroom on the lower floor has a crawl space underneath that we will seal and install a dehumidifier in the coming weeks, as for the hall we're yet to determine if it's a slab-on-ground - we'll be opening it up from the outside in the coming weeks.R RAG said:
See attached half floor plan (the original file couldn't be uploaded). Upstairs we have two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and living room.
The house is 2 x 70 m2
