Replace post on carport

Hello,

I saw that one of the posts on the carport is rotten, so I was thinking of replacing it. I measured it to be 100x100mm, but when I search, there are basically no glulam beams with those dimensions.

To the question, could it be something other than glulam? Can I go down to 95x95?

Sure, you can definitely use a 95*95 instead.

I'm quite sure you can buy 4"x4" at the nearest local sawmill, or order it from Beijer if you shop there.

does anyone possibly know a saw in the Malmö area?

Beijer didn't have anything on the website, is it a special order you make?

Could you perhaps even go up a dimension to 115x115 and plane at the fastenings?

Surely, this isn't glulam? Replaced this 100x100mm with a 90x90 glulam, surely that should be okay?
