If trenches have been chiseled into the concrete floor for drainage installation, a drain, and some other additions, approximately 10 cm deep down to the reinforcement, can you just straight away fill them in with EPS? Do you not lose strength compared to the regular concrete?

I would like an answer to this as well.

For a regular floor without any special loads, it's not a problem, however, you should use self-leveling compound on top of EPS concrete if I remember correctly.

Lifting this thread, does anyone have answers? EPS doesn't stick to old concrete, so if you have chiseled out 3-4 meters long channels in the existing concrete slab and fill with EPS, it feels like you have destroyed the load-bearing capacity?

EPS concrete is a fantastic material.
No issues with ground slabs.
Read the “instructions”…
