One last point. If the center beam is placed under the ridges without cutting them, the material is utilized much better, but there may not be enough space.
Yes, that would also significantly reduce the amount of work, but then the ceiling height would suffer and reduce the possibility of parking cars underneath. So it is preferably avoided if possible.J justusandersson said:
