Hello!
I have now torn down the walls and ceiling in the living room. Behind the masonite boards that were on the walls, a wall is now exposed (see picture) that looks like a disaster. The walls are double-bricked with an air gap. The inner wall is plastered, patched, repaired. I have no information on the house's age other than that part stands on a granite foundation.

The idea is to have everything plastered and painted so it will be uniform, but the big question is how should I proceed with the preparation work?

I assume that one should use some form of primer and repair all major damages before plastering, but which primer and mix would you recommend?

Anything I should keep in mind?

Grateful for any replies! Exposed double brick wall with plaster in a renovated living room, showing damage and needing preparation before painting. Two windows and wooden ceiling visible.
